When you place an order with CAP Carbon, you agree to accept the following terms and conditions.
Purchasing - CAP Carbon endeavors to deliver goods of the highest quality and as quickly as possible. Occasionally, we may be unable to meet our usual delivery times due to circumstances beyond our control. In those cases we will advise you immediately and you will be given the opportunity to: (a) order an alternative product, (b) have the products sent as soon as they become available, (c) cancel your order.
All prices quoted are in British pounds sterling (£). We make every effort to ensure that these prices are accurate, however changes do occur. If this does happen, we will contact you before shipping your order to gain your agreement to the revised price, amend or cancel your order.
Orders are accepted at the sole discretion of CAP Carbon and are subject to your payment card being authorised for the transaction. All transactions are conducted through HSBC secure web servers using 128-bit enryption to ensure the security and integrity of all your sensitive data. We accept Visa, Delta Electron, MasterCard and Switch as payment methods.
You will receive order confirmation by email within 24 hours of your order being placed. This includes your order number, our contact details and a full list of the products that you have ordered together will the cost.
Every effort is made to ensure that the information contained in this web site is correct and up to date. However, CAP Carbon disclaims all warranties and representations as to the accuracy and representations as to the accuracy of any information contained if at any time it becomes out of date or incomplete. Shipping - CAP Carbon delivers within the UK only. Please contact us using our enquiry form for deliveries to the EU.
Parcels are packed using inhouse recycled or specially sourced recycled packaging where possible. Our loose fill is biodegradable and can be composted. We strongly believe that recycling starts at home and actively aim to reduce the waste we generate and manage our resource consumption in a sustainable manner.
We use DHL for delivery of goods to you and on ocassion, we may use Royal Mail. The following tariffs are used:
Standard Delivery (2 to 3 working days) - £4.95
Next Working Day Delivery - £ 6.95
Next Working Day by Noon - £ 9.95
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Highlands of Scotland and Islands may incur a delivery surcharge.
We will use a signed for delivery service, the only exception being where items fit through a letter box.
Delivery - We will endeavour to ensure same day or next day despatch and delivery to you is fulfilled between two and five working days depending upon the chosen method of despatch. There may be a delay in despatching your order if any item is out of stock; you will be notified and given the opportunity to amend or cancel your order if expected despatch exceeds 14 days.
Pricing - All prices are shown in UK pounds sterling (£).

Complaints - We take all complaints seriously. Please email enquiries@capcarbon.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working day of receiving a complaint and will keep you informed on our progress throughout.
Returns - We want you to be 100% satisfied with your order. If you are unhappy with your goods for any reason, you can return any item in its original condition within 14 days of receipt for a replacement or refund. Please click
here for our comprehensive returns procedure. Any refunds will be made within 14 working days of receipt of goods. Please note that refunds of shipping costs will only be considered at our discretion. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Our light bulbs are classed as consumables, and do not have a guarantee. The life expectancy figure that is quoted is the expected life of the bulb based on a mean time between failure calculation.
Please see our returns page for full details of your and our obligations regarding returns. Please return any damaged energy saving light bulb purchased from us to allow us to safely dispose of them.
Exchanges - Non like for like exchanges will incur a £4.50 resend charge. Please return your order in it's original packaging and in a resalable condition with all packaging in tact to us at our address.
